I titled my blog using an iconic quotation from a Shakespearean Play "Hamlet" because it is profoundly based on what everyone has been trying, struggling or dying to be - their true selves. I am still searching for the answer to that question myself and amidst all the faint glimpses of truth and doubts, trudging through the labyrinth of daily life, maybe my blogging will help me unravel my destiny in time to come...

I felt that Ai Jia, like what you have said in your previous post, is tired of 超級星光大道 competitions already. From the way she handled this song, it is obvious that she is using too much strength, probably venting her anger of some sort... I don't know.
Zhi Yang seems like he has improved from the old problem of being too technical. I feel quite touched by this particular song though.
Olivia is an awesome singer. But.. it's a pity that she's always singing English songs and nothing else except Little Nyonya theme's song that we've heard before.
To Sean, thanks for posting the links of the PK performance here. I am not a pro , just like to listen to cpop, so i wanna to share my views (since you ask for it..haha)
Before i start, i want to say i am very happy our sg rep has done so well. I am especially happy for zhiyang and aijia since i have watched these "kids" since Campus Superstar, and zhiyang & aijia are the 2 out of the 3 CSS contestants whom i feel really has potential and had consistently delivered during the competition. (The other one being Teresa Tseng) I hope to continue to see these 3 young aspiring contestants continue to shine in this music scene in one way or another.
Below are my personal thoughts after listening to the PK round 5.
zhiyang : Technically very good, but seem to try too hard to impress here. He has improved technically over the past 3years, but why is it i feel he lost his'sincerity' ? Perhaps he pick a wrong song.
aijia : i am impressed with aijia when she sang the 不痛 and 我应该得到.But am abit disappointed since 傻瓜. Actually i think she has an edge since i personally feel the judges abit more lenient towards her. i feel she must learn to control her power. Sometimes, it gets quite "stresed" listening to her sing. (I like the song 不痛, and i still like the way Angela sings it. I don't feel "stressed" even though she has the power)
kewei : i recall i hear kewei sang live before and i think it was better. She has a nice voice & is technically very sound too, but lack the emotions when she sing in the competition. Not sure why.
olivia : Her "style" of singing is quite similar for the songs (i meant PK), but that is ok. She always sing with "feel" and bring out the emotions. I think that is why she score well. So, a person need not constantly change style or show the singing power. Just bring out the emotions of the song with your own style everytime you sing.
That's all...paiseh for writing so much. Anyway, its not easy to consistently deliver. Easier said than done. haha.
