Photos of Food and Places For The Past Two Weeks

Here's another series of blog photos uploaded for the viewing pleasure of my readers, including my enemies (who popped out of nowhere to call me to eat sai..haha). As all of you know, I don't upload faces of people without permission, especially my VIP friends so most of the photos don't show people, only food, places and scenery.

Here's what happened in my life for the past two weeks...

I went to an undisclosed skin specialist clinic with The Changed Man to take a look at my skin because there are certain areas which pimples keep breaking out despite regular wash. The doctor was very friendly and understanding and gave me his best medicine to try on. Hope I will look more handsome when the course of the medication completes in due time.

We then headed off to eat some 肉骨茶 at Chinatown area, near Clark Quay for brunch. Picture only shows the side dishes because we already tucked in to the main dish before I remembered taking photos.

I had a lunch appointment on Saturday at Raffles City if a new friend whom I shall henceforth named as The Filial Adventurer because she is a filial daughter to her parents and she is also an outdoors person with an adventurous spirit. Whilst window-shopping, we came across this exhibition of kites.
I uploaded another photo of a lone kite when I was traveling in between work assignments. The kite-flyer was an expert because that kite was easily three hundred meters above ground and flying steadily in the strong winds. It was a perfect day to watch kite and obviously a perfect day for the kite itself.
The Filial Adventurer and I found a nice Hongkong-styled cafe at the basement of Raffles City and we ordered lunch there - curry seafood rice for her, XO seafood noodles for myself. We chatted about her work here and her plans in the future.
I met The Busy Bee on another Saturday morning and this was taken when we finished out KTV session and hung around Coffee Club near Millenia Walk. The beautiful lights overhead caught my attention - looks like some giant buttons configured to hold a cluster of bulbs - nice.
The cafe was quite empty so I had a chance to take a photo of the beautiful orange cushions going all the way up to the walls. Nice comfortable seats I must say.
This was the KTV Lunch Japanese Bento set mentioned in my earlier post. Looks delicious after an hour's worth of singing and laughing. I still owe another KTV session with another friend.
This was taken three or four weeks ago when I had some afternoon snacks after a swim with The Changed Man. It's very sinful because of the two rich slabs of butter with the toasted slices of bread so please drink lots of water or risk getting fat. Haha.

Time to grab some afternoon nap before I start work again. That's all for now. Thanks for all the loyal following of my blog. Will try to post more interesting stuff if I come across them. ^__^
