I think this song is a little too easy for Elaine because other than having a lot of lyrics to remember, the song employs very little vocal techniques. The original rendition uses a sleepy and slow-moving style of singing throughout the whole song and the only real difficulty is in the management of the lownotes. Elaine will have to impress with her own rendition by adding more power and punch, especially to the chorus or risk a bland performance that actually prevents the showcasing of her vocal strengths. Maybe this is the challenge she wants for herself so I'll be watching closely as to how she can bring a better version of this song to the audience on Monday.

I believe Agnes knows that she will be compared with not just the original singer's rendtion but Jiajun's rendition of this song and so I'll be very curious to know how she will make this song her own at this round. Light-hearted and uplifting in both its tune and lyrics, a successful performance of this song will hinge on how the performer can emote such feelings to the audience and make them sway to the song's mood. A careful choice of gesticulation and audience interaction will be necessary to make the performance visually enjoyable as well. As this song is comparatively lighter than the other two song selections by the female contestants, it may stand out well but it remains to be seen if Agnes can manage the switching of notes and hold the lownotes and the ending of the song well enough.

This is one of the more difficult songs by Sun Yanzi because the endnotes are not easy to manage. They need to be both crystalline clear and yet trail off in a "free-flying" style. On the other hand, certain parts of the song must actually end decisively as deliberated by the song-writer. The performer must be able to emote the sense of freedom and release within the song and reach of the voice must be felt clearly and convincingly strong. I believe this song is the most difficult song amongst the entire QF 3B round and I'll be looking forward to listen, see and feel how Keely is going to portray this song.

This song's endnotes are low and not easy to grasp clearly and there are quite a lot of hard and soft notes to differentiate. There is also a slow buildup from the first verse towards the chorus, which Junjie must be able to emote the buildup well too as it forms a primary feature of the song. There are ample opportunities to showcase the performer's reach and strength of voice and thus impress the audience but there are very little breathing stops in the song so performer must have a good control and allocation of breath if he is to give an memorable performance for the audience and judges. Amongst the guy's song selections for this round, I believe this song is the most difficult but offers the greatest potential to score if performed to expectations.

This is another song with a playful dance tune, in which Guohao can capitalize on his performing talent onstage. However, it is probably the most difficult song he has to field thus far in the competition because this song is also a dance track with distinctive pauses for dance, so he must find creative but not exaggerated ways to fill in those spaces. Vocal-wise, control of the light notes is crucial to prevent the singing from being drowned by the background music and making the chorus distinctive enough. Staying on-beat with the dance track and remembering the quick-moving lyrics and a good measure of breath control will also be standard challenges to all dance-track songs.

A simple and light-hearted ballad from a young singer and thus avoiding most of the compare-and-contrast problems with the original singer. The performer must perform with the same level of light-heartedness and catch the significant rhythm of the song just like the swinging motion of the swing itself. Facial expression and gesticulation must be coordinated properly with the suitable parts of the song to make the performance visually entertaining. There is also a marked change of key in the later part of the song at the chorus. This isn't exactly an easy song to perform but safe enough if the performer is sensitive to rhythm and has adequate practice. The only problem is - how many ballads can Marcus field before he becomes boring onstage?
